Integrations
Connect calendars for booking, Shopify for order support, and Zapier, webhooks or the API for everything else.
Where to find them
Open Settings → Integrations to see everything you can connect. Items marked Coming soon aren't available yet. Brand owners and admins can connect and disconnect integrations.
Connect a calendar
Your agents can check availability and book appointments in Calendly, Cal.com or Google Calendar.
- In Integrations, open the calendar you use.
- For Calendly or Google Calendar, click connect and sign in to approve access. For Cal.com, paste your Cal.com API key.
- Open your agent in Skill Agents, go to Actions and enable Book an appointment.
- Pick the platform, then pick the event type the agent should book.
- Save and publish a new version.
Google Calendar has no event types, so you pick a calendar and an appointment length instead. The agent offers weekday times between 9am and 5pm in that calendar's time zone, skipping anything already booked, and adds the caller to the event.
Connect Shopify
- In Integrations, open Shopify and enter your Store domain and an Admin API access token from your store.
- On your agent's Actions tab, enable the order actions you want: Shopify: order tracking, Shopify: order items and Shopify: issue refund.
- If you enable refunds, set the Maximum refund the agent can issue (USD). Anything over it is sent to your email support instead.
- Save and publish.
Before the agent shares order details or acts on an order, the caller has to prove the order is theirs. The agent can only act on the order they verified.
Create an API key
- In Integrations, open Webhooks & API (or Zapier).
- Enter a key name, such as "Zapier", and create it.
- Copy the key straight away. It's shown only once.
Each key shows when it was last used. Revoke a key you no longer need and anything using it stops working immediately. Keys are used by Zapier, by Speed to Lead endpoints, and by the Boundless API.
Connect Zapier
- Create an API key as above and copy it.
- In Zapier, add a Boundless trigger or action and paste the key when asked to connect your account.
- Pick the event you want, such as a call completed, a meeting booked or a caller opting out.
Add a webhook
- In Webhooks & API, enter your Endpoint URL.
- Tick the Events you want, then add the webhook.
We send a POST to your endpoint each time one of those events happens. Events include call.started, call.completed, meeting.booked, caller.opted_out, form.completed and the speed_to_lead events. Each delivery is signed in the x-boundless-signature header (HMAC-SHA256 with the subscription's secret) so you can check it came from us. Failed deliveries are retried.
Other integrations
- ElevenLabs: connect your own ElevenLabs account to use its voices. You pick the voice per agent on the Voice & tone tab.
- Bring your own number: see Phone numbers.
- Speed to Lead: see Speed to Lead.
