The front desk is with a patient. The phone is still ringing.

Boundless answers every call on the first ring, handles scheduling and the routine questions, and routes anything clinical to your staff. The person at the desk gets to look up.

  • Every call answered, all day
  • Routine questions handled
  • Clinical calls always go to your staff

One person can't greet, check in, check out and answer the phone.

The front desk is the hardest job in the practice. The phone rings while someone is checking in, again while someone is paying, and again while the last caller is still on hold.

Callers who wait get impatient. Callers who reach voicemail book somewhere else, and new patients are the ones least likely to try twice.

Boundless takes the routine calls off the desk, so your staff can give their attention to the people in the room.

What it takes off the front desk

New-patient and appointment calls

The agent answers on the first ring and books onto Calendly, Cal.com or Google Calendar against real availability. If your schedule lives elsewhere, it captures the request and hands it to your team.

The questions you answer all day

Hours, location, parking, which insurance plans you accept, what a first visit involves. It answers from the information you provide and nothing else.

Directions and forms by text

Links to directions or new-patient forms go out by text during the call.

After-hours calls

Set your hours and decide what happens once you close: book, take a message, or transfer to the on-call line.

Callers who need a person

Billing, referrals, anything clinical. Your transfer rules route each to the right person or department with a warm handoff.

A record of every call

Recording, transcript, summary and outcome, so nothing depends on a sticky note.

What it will not do, by design

It does not give medical advice

You write the rules. Questions about symptoms, medications or results are transferred to your staff or taken as a message, never answered.

It is not an emergency line

Boundless must not be used in place of 911, and the agent can be instructed to tell callers with an emergency to hang up and dial it.

It does not guess

When the answer isn't in the knowledge you gave it, it says so and offers a message or a transfer.

You control the data

You decide how long recordings and transcripts are kept, you can erase any individual caller, and your calls are not used to train AI models.

Built with regulated work in mind

Designed for regulated industries: role-based access, audit logs, data export and erasure, encrypted credentials, and identity verification before any account detail is shared.

Fair questions

How does Boundless handle sensitive information?

Designed for regulated industries: role-based access, audit logs, data export and erasure, encrypted credentials, and identity verification before any account detail is shared. You also decide how long recordings and transcripts are kept, including not keeping them at all, and your calls are not used to train AI models.

Does it connect to my practice management system or EHR?

Not directly today. Booking works with Calendly, Cal.com and Google Calendar, and every call can push its details to your other tools through Zapier, signed webhooks or the API. Until then, practices use it for new-patient booking on a connected calendar and for capturing requests their team completes.

Does it verify insurance?

No. It can tell callers which plans you accept, from the list you provide. Eligibility and benefits checks stay with your team.

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Yes. Keep your existing number: forward it to Boundless in minutes, or port it over so it lives with your agent. You can also search for and buy new numbers by area code inside the product.

Can it handle emergencies?

No. Boundless is not an emergency service and must not be used in place of 911. For urgent jobs, such as a burst pipe at midnight, you can set rules that transfer the caller straight to whoever is on call.

Will my customers mind talking to an AI?

They mind voicemail more. The agent answers instantly, is upfront about what it is when asked, and hands off to a person in seconds when that is what the caller needs.

What if it says something wrong?

It answers from the knowledge you gave it, and transfers or takes a message when it isn't sure. Nothing goes live until you publish it, and you can listen to every call it has ever handled.

How long does setup take?

Pick a template, paste in your FAQs, choose a voice, and make one test call. You can be live the same day.
